151X1225DF01PC01R3 Power Converter GE-151X1225DF01PC01R3

With built-in programmable logic control capabilities, it can execute interlocking, sequential control and other automation logic locally, and complete the linkage control of local devices without relying on the upper-level system. It supports multiple clock synchronization methods such as IRIG-B, PTP (IEEE 1588-2008), SNTP and so on, to ensure consistent time accuracy of all devices in the station and meet the timestamp requirements of Sequence of Events (SOE) and fault analysis.

This device has a built-in dual power input module, supporting a wide input range of 88 to 300V DC or 85 to 264V AC. It can uniformly convert power from different sources into the stable DC operating voltage required by the device, providing reliable power supply to the backend load. It has power redundancy capabilities, and can achieve seamless switching when two power supplies are connected simultaneously, ensuring uninterrupted critical channels.

  Core Functions

  I. Communication Gateway and Data Centralization

As a core device of the station control layer, it connects to and collects data from various intelligent electronic devices such as protection relays, power quality monitors, meters, PLCs, and RTUs through 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 6 serial ports (RS232/RS485). Supports over 30 industrial communication protocols, including IEC 61850 (GOOSE, MMS), DNP3.0, Modbus RTU/TCP, IEC 60870-5-101/104, IEC 62439-3 (HSR/PRP), and OPC UA, enabling data interoperability between devices from different manufacturers and using different protocols, thus solving the problem of information silos.

  II. Multi-Protocol Conversion

Supports over 30 industrial communication protocols, including IEC 61850 (GOOSE/MMS), DNP3.0 (serial port and TCP), Modbus (RTU/TCP), IEC 60870-5-101/104, IEC 62439-3 (HSR/PRP), and OPC UA, enabling seamless data exchange between devices from different manufacturers and using different protocols, thus solving the problem of "information silos."

  III. Remote Communication (SCADA Interconnection)

It can function as a master station or substation, communicating with the superior dispatch center and centralized control station to upload real-time substation data, event logs, alarm information, and fault waveform files (COMTRADE format). Simultaneously, it receives remote control and remote adjustment commands, enabling remote monitoring and control.

IV. Local Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)

In addition to communication functions, it has built-in programmable logic control capabilities, enabling it to execute interlocking, sequential control, and other automation logic locally, completing the linkage control of local equipment without relying on a higher-level system.

  V. Clock Synchronization

It supports multiple clock synchronization methods, including IRIG-B, PTP (IEEE 1588-2008), and SNTP, ensuring consistent time accuracy across all substation equipment and meeting the timestamp requirements for Sequence of Events (SOE) and fault analysis.

  VI. Data Storage and Management

Equipped with large-capacity storage, it can record events, SOE sequences, and fault waveform files. It supports local data storage and forwarding, facilitating post-event analysis and auditing.

  VII. Network Security

Built-in firewall, user access control, security logs, and other functions, complying with NERC CIP and other power industry network security standards to ensure communication link and data security.

  VIII. Environmental Adaptability

Fanless design, operating temperature range from -40°C to +70°C, supports 19-inch rack mounting or DIN rail mounting, meeting the long-term stable operation requirements of harsh environments such as substations, power plants, and large industrial facilities.

  IX. Configuration and Maintenance

Configuration, programming, monitoring, and diagnostics are performed through the GE Enervista software suite, supporting online firmware upgrades (PC03 version) for easy feature expansion and future maintenance.

  X. Power Management

Supports dual power supply redundancy input of 88-300V DC / 85-264V AC to ensure uninterrupted critical communication channels.
